About me
Rosielee Wicks is a dedicated occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience. Throughout her career, Rosielee has supported the academic side of the profession as an adjunct professor, guest lecturer, fieldwork coordinator, and co-presenter at the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association (MiOTA) state conference. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, burn rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and currently, school-based therapy. Rosielee achieved the role of Senior Therapist at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan before transitioning to her current position with Detroit Public Schools Community District, where she works closely with students with autism and those with physical or other health impairments. She remains an active member of both the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and MiOTA and continues to mentor future occupational therapy students through pre-admission counseling and fieldwork supervision.
