About me
Lisa Johnson has 30 years of pediatric Occupational Therapy experience from a variety of inpatient, outpatient and school settings and she has assumed the role of both clinician and management. She has earned several pediatric specialty certifications inclusive of completion of the 8-week pediatric NDT certification and certification for administration of the SIPT. Concurrent to working, Lisa has completed her Master's in Health Science in OT through the University of Indianapolis and her Doctorate in OT through Creighton University. She is current working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Findlay. She volunteers at AOTA in the position of Advocacy Director for the Sensory Integration and Processing Special Interest Session, and as a co-facilitator of the Literacy Community of Practice. She has served on the MiOTA board within the Advocacy department as the interim and currently as a co-Policy director. She would love to connect with Michigan OT's who are interested in removing barriers for the underserved to access to occupational therapy services.
